Utah’s current fuel taxes include the following.
- Motor Fuels
- Gasoline
- Gasohol
- Aviation Fuels
- All fuel used for aircraft operation
- Special Fuels
- Any fuel used for motor vehicle operation on Utah public highways or waterways that is not taxed as motor or aviation fuel. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Diesel
- Bio-diesel
- Kerosene
- Blended fuels
- Compressed natural gas (CNG)
- Liquified natural gas (LNG)
- Hydrogen
- Any other fuel used to operate or propel a motor vehicle on public roads that is not taxed as motor or aviation fuel and is not listed above
- Any fuel used for motor vehicle operation on Utah public highways or waterways that is not taxed as motor or aviation fuel. This includes, but is not limited to:
