Filing Frequencies and Due Dates

Taxes and fees are reported by calendar years, quarters or months except for:

  • Brine Shrimp Royalties
  • Gross Receipts Tax

Returns are due the last day of the month after the filing period ends (unless otherwise indicated). For example:

Filing Frequency Due
Annual January 31
Quarterly April 30
July 31
October 31
January 31
Monthly January 31 for December
February 28 for January
Etc.

If the due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or a legal holiday, the return is due the next business day.

Filing frequency and due dates for Sales Related Taxes are the same as your Utah Sales and Use Taxes.
