Changes to Taxpayer Access Point – TAP
On August 24, 2015, we changed the way you file Individual Income Tax returns in Taxpayer Access Point (TAP). Please read this information to find out how it impacts you.
Important Withholding Tax Changes
To combat identity theft and income tax fraud, there are significant changes to annual withholding reconciliation requirements for employers. The new requirements will let the Tax Commission match employer withholding information to employees’ individual income tax returns. Please view this page for more information.
Information Regarding E-cigarettes
Effective July 1, sellers of e-cigarettes and e-cigarette supplies who do not also sell cigarette or tobacco products must register with the Tax Commission and pay a $30 license fee. For more information, see Pub 65, Tax Information for Cigarettes, Tobacco Products and Electronic Cigarette Products.
