STATEMENT OF CASE
This
is an appeal to the Utah State Tax Commission from the XXXXX sand and gravel
assessment on the subject property by the Property Tax Division of the Utah
State Tax Commission (Respondent).
Petitioner asserts that the subject property should be reduced in value because
much of the land has very steep terrain.
Petitioner
and Respondent stipulated and agreed to an adjustment in the acreage for gravel
pit purposes of the subject property as follows:
(l) Serial No. XXXXX (27.0 acres) will be
eliminated from Centrally Assessed Property.
(2) Serial No. XXXXX (43.35 acres) will be
reduced to 20.0 acres.
The
prior total value of the subject property is $$$$$. The stipulated and proposed total value of the subject property
is $$$$$.
DECISION AND ORDER
The
Tax Commission, after reviewing this stipulation, hereby accepts this
stipulation in lieu of a Formal Hearing and finds the total value of the
subject property as of January 1, XXXXX, to be $$$$$.
The
Property Tax Division of the Utah State Tax Commission is directed to adjust
its records in accordance with this Order of Approval.
