Welcome to the Utah State Tax Commission's online Withholding Tax Workshop. This resource will guide you through the steps needed to open a withholding tax license, file your required withholding returns and complete your year-end reconciliation and reporting.
The site has been designed to allow you to directly access any of the subject areas you wish. However, if you are starting a new business and this is your first experience with withholding taxes and reporting in Utah, we suggest starting at the beginning of the workshop and going sequentially through each section. We have used a fictitious business as an example to take you through the process of filing required returns and year-end reports.
