Withholding Tax Workshop
Welcome to the Utah State Tax Commission's online Withholding Tax workshop. This training will teach you how to open a withholding tax license, file your required withholding returns and complete your year-end reconciliation.
NOTE: Withholding forms have changed for 2009. You must use the TC-941 forms if you are filing for 2009 periods. Only use series TC-96 forms if you are filing for 2008 and previous periods.
The site allows you to directly access any of the subjects you need. However, if this is your first experience with withholding taxes in Utah, we suggest starting at the beginning and going through each section sequentially. We have used a fictitious business as an example to take you through the process of filing required returns and year-end reports.
